Delightful Conversation and Pomegranate Gin Fizz with Andrea Sinkin!

Executive Creative Director Neal Edwards had a drink and a chat with the always entertaining Andrea Sinkin of Andrea Sinkin Design. Make a drink and watch the recording here. 

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 ounces Bombay Sapphire gin
• 6 ounces sparkling pomegranate orange juice (such as San Pellegrino)
• fresh pomegranate arils
• ice

Instructions

1. In a collins glass add gin. Fill the glass with ice and pour in the sparkling pomegranate organic juice. Top with pomegranate arils.
2. Makes 1 cocktail.

As the daughter of successful interior designer and business owner, Beverly Sinkin, Andrea developed her unique sense of style and design aesthetic at an early age. Andrea began an illustrious fashion career as a New York representative for European Art studios based in Italy, France, and the UK. In this role, she gave trend direction, as well as showcased their work directly, to Creative Directors at companies such as Knoll, Duralee, Croscill, Macys, Schumacher, Robert Allen, and many more notable firms.

Andrea’s career transcended into trend forecasting, working with top international companies based in both Paris and New York. Season after season, leading companies such as Target, Revlon, Ralph Lauren, Mohawk Flooring, General Motors and Hooker Furniture, all relied on Andrea to provide timely, directive and globally-inspired trends, as well as her expertise and talent to develop their next collection. After 15 years gaining experience in the fashion and design world, Andrea went back to her roots to work for her mother’s design firm, using her experience in fashion to help elevate her craft as an interior designer. In 2017, Andrea founded Andrea Sinkin Design and is finally bringing together her two passions of fashion and design to her clients’ homes. She understands textiles, color, floor plans and design from the ground up and truly loves a collaborative relationship with her clients.

Andrea is very involved in the local Greenwich community, and for the past three years, has co-chaired Greenwich Hospital’s Under the Stars fundraiser benefiting Women’s and Children’s Health raising over $2.3M to date. She donates a portion of all her proceeds to charities for animals, children, and the bettering of her community. Andrea resides in beautiful Greenwich, CT with her husband, their 2 daughters, two wild dogs and an albino Beta fish named Violet.

This comfortable living space and tv room uses not one but two SOFIA GRY cabinets to stylishly conceal everyday items. Using them in this way almost makes it feel like a custom piece.
